NUKEM Technologies has established a R&D program for treatment of bituminized waste stored in drums.

This year’s IFAT took place on 21-23 October in Istanbul to offer its participants a wide range of environmental solutions and technologies.

NUKEM Technologies (NUKEM) was in 2019 awarded a contract to design, provide technology, and supply selected equipment for the Waste Treatment Facility at the Xiapu Nuclear Power Plant site in the Fujian Province of the Republic of China.

Effective March 08, 2021, Ulf Kutscher was relieved by the shareholder of his position as managing director of NUKEM Technologies Engineering Services GmbH.

NUKEM and Brenk Systemplanung GmbH as the consortium leader were awarded a contract by Bundesgesellschaft für Endlagerung (BGE – Federal Company for Radioactive Waste Disposal) to draw up a concept for the characterization of the radioactive waste to be retrieved from the Asse II mine.
