If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 f DSGVO:

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type und version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

Contact us by e-mail or contact form

When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, name and telephone number, if applicable) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. Insofar as we request input via our contact form that is not required for contacting us, we have always marked this as optional. We use this information to specify your enquiry and to improve the processing of your request. This information is provided expressly on a voluntary basis and with your consent, Art. 6 Para. 1 a DSGVO. Insofar as this involves information on communication channels (e.g. e-mail address, telephone number), you also consent to us contacting you via this communication channel, if necessary, in order to answer your request. Of course, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future.

We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer required or restrict the processing if there are statutory retention obligations.

Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter on our website to receive information about our company's activities, current information about our services and events. The legal basis for sending the respective newsletter is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO in conjunction with. § 7 para. 2 no. 3 UWG or the legal permission according to § 7 para. 3 UWG.

We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure to register for our newsletters. This means that after your registration, we will send you an email to the email address you provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration, your information will be automatically deleted after 3 days.

After your confirmation, we store your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter and until revoked. We also store your current IP address at the time of registration, the time of registration and the confirmation for up to three years after registration (limitation period). The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration in case of doubt and, if necessary, to clarify any misuse of your personal data. The legal basis for logging the registration is our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO in proving a previously given consent, see also Art. 7 para. 1 DSGVO.

You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter and unsubscribe at any time. You can declare the revocation by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter email or by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Newsletter Tracking

We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behaviour when sending the newsletter in order to determine whether and when the newsletter was opened. For this evaluation, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels that are stored on our server and loaded when the newsletter is opened. Technical information such as browser type, time of opening and IP address is transmitted. For analysis purposes, we link the above data and the web beacons with your e-mail adress and an individual ID. Links received in the newsletter also contain this ID and enable us to analyse your click behaviour.

The data is processed pseudonymously, i.e. the IDs are not directly linked to your other personal data, a direct personal reference is excluded. The legal basis for this data processing is your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

You can revoke your consent to tracking at any time with effect for the future by clicking on the separate link provided in each email.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. In this case, the revocation includes the entire newsletter, as a separate revocation of the tracking is unfortunately not technically possible. To do so, simply click the unsubscribe link provided in each email.

Moreover, such tracking is not possible if you have deactivated the display of images by default in your e-mail programme. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed in full and you may not be able to use all the functions. If you display the images manually, the above-mentioned tracking takes place.

The tracking information is stored for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After unsubscribing, the data is anonymised and used for purely statistical purposes.

The data you provide us with for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

Job Application

You can apply for a job at our company electronically, in particular via our online application portal. Your online job application will be forwarded directly to the HR department via an encrypted connection and will of course be treated confidentially. We will only use your details to process your application and will not pass them on to third parties. For further information on data processing in the application process, please refer to the privacy policy of our application portal.

You can also apply to our company via e-mail or web form. We will only use your details to process your application and will not pass them on to third parties. Please note that unencrypted e-mails will not be protected against unauthorised access.

If you have applied for a specific position and it has already been filled or we consider you equally or even more suitable for another position, we would forward your application within the company. Please let us know if you do not agree to forwarding.

Your details will be used for processing your application and deciding on your employment. The legal basis is § 26 para. 1 in conjunction with. Para. 8 S.2 BDSG. Furthermore, your personal data may be processed if this is necessary to defend legal claims asserted against us from the application process. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. The legitimate interest in the processing also lies in the stated purposes.

Insofar as an employment relationship arises between you and us, we may further process the personal data already received from you for the purposes of the employment relationship in accordance with section 26 (1) of the BDSG if this is necessary for the implementation or termination of the employment relationship or for the exercise or fulfilment of the rights and obligations of the employee representation resulting from a law or a collective agreement, a works agreement or a service agreement (collective agreement).

Your personal data will be deleted immediately after completion of the application process, or after a maximum of 6 months, unless there are other legitimate interests on our part that prevent deletion, or you have given us permission to store it for a longer period. Other legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a duty to provide evidence in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

Use of Cookies

When you use our website, cookies are stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and assigned to the browser you are using, and through which certain information flows to the body that sets the cookie. Cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They are used to make the website as a whole more user-friendly and effective.

This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:

Transient cookies

These cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include in particular the session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the joint session. This enables your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

Persistent cookies

These cookies are automatically deleted after a predefined period of time, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

Cookie prevention

You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that you may then not be able to use all the functions of this website.

Website analysis

For the purpose of analysing and optimising our websites, we use various services, which are described below. For example, we can analyse how many users visit our site, which information is most in demand or how users find the offer. Among other things, we collect data on which website a data subject came to a website from (so-called referrer), which sub-pages of the website were accessed or how often and for how long a sub-page was viewed. This helps us to design and improve our offers in a user-friendly way.

Google Analytics

If you have given your consent, this website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. The responsible party for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information collected by means of the cookies about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

However, in the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. In addition, we receive information about the functionality of our site (for example, to identify navigation problems).

Receiver

Recipients of the data are/could be

  • Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (as processor pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO)
  • Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
  • Alphabet Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA

Third country transfer

Insofar as data is processed outside the EU/EEA and there is no level of data protection corresponding to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contractual clauses with the service provider to establish an appropriate level of data protection. The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, is based in California, USA. A transfer of data to the USA and access by US authorities to the data stored by Google cannot be ruled out. The USA is currently considered a third country from a data protection perspective. You do not have the same rights there as within the EU/EEA. You may not have any legal remedies against access by authorities.

Storage period

The data sent by us and linked to cookies are automatically deleted after 14 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once a month.

Legal basis

The legal basis for this data processing is your consent pursuant to Art.6 Para.1 S.1 lit.a DSGVO.

You can find more information on the terms of use of Google Analytics and on data protection at Google at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/de/.

and at https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

DoubleClick by Google

We use the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA on our website. The responsible party for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland. DoubleClick uses cookies to display ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent users from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser. This prevents the same ad from being shown more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions with reference to ads. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later calls up the advertiser's website with the same browser and buys something there.

When you access a page that uses DoubleClick and for which the DoubleClick script is permitted, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. As the website operator, we have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool. We inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider may obtain and store your IP address.

Where data is processed outside the EEA, where there is no level of data protection equivalent to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contractual clauses with the service provider to establish a secure level of data protection.

For more information on DoubleClick by Google, please visit https://www.google.de/doubleclick and on Google privacy in general: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at https://www.networkadvertising.org.

The collection and storage of data only takes place after explicit consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. This consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords), Remarketing and Conversion Tracking

We use the Google Ads service. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The responsible party for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.

This means that we place Google Ads and also use Google Remarketing and Conversion Tracking as part of this. The ads are displayed after search queries on websites of the Google advertising network. In addition, we use Ads remarketing lists for search ads. This allows us to customise search ad campaigns for users who have visited our website before. Through the services, we can combine our ads with specific search terms or to serve ads to previous visitors that, for example, advertise services that they have viewed on our website. This means that we can display interest-based advertising to users of our website on other websites within the Google advertising network (as a "Google Ad" within Google Search or on other websites).

An analysis of online user behaviour is necessary for interest-based offers. Google uses cookies to carry out this analysis. When clicking on an advertisement or visiting our website, a cookie is set on the user's computer by Google. These cookies have a duration of 90 days. The information collected by means of the respective cookie is used to target the visitor in a subsequent search query. Further information on the cookie technology used can also be found in Google's notes on website statistics and in the privacy policy. With the help of this technology, Google and we as a customer receive information about the fact that a user has clicked on an advertisement and been redirected to our web pages. The information obtained in this way is used exclusively for statistical analysis to optimise advertisements. We do not receive any information with which visitors can be personally identified. Your IP address is transmitted to Google, but since we use Google Analytics on this website, your IP address is anonymised. The statistics provided to us by Google include the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and, if applicable, whether they were redirected to a page on our website that was tagged with a conversion tag. These statistics allow us to understand which search terms were clicked on particularly often and which ads lead to the user contacting us via the contact form.

Where data is processed outside the EEA, where there is no level of data protection equivalent to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contractual clauses with the service provider to establish a secure level of data protection.

You can find more information on data protection in the context of Google Ads at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de

The collection and storage of data only takes place after explicit consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. This consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

Google maps

This site uses the mapping service Google Maps. Google Maps is a mapping service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The responsible entity for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
