NUKEM Technologies Engineering Services is globally active in the areas of radioactive waste management, the decommissioning of nuclear facilities and engineering.

Our waste management experts offer the entire range from concepts and feasibility studies up to development, procurement and supply of waste processing facilities as well as construction of complete waste treatment plants.

The decommissioning, decontamination and dismantling of nuclear facilities require not only a comprehensive technical know-how, but primarily a solid understanding of legal approval procedures.

Our long-standing experience is instrumental in determining the needs of the operators of nuclear power plants or other nuclear facilities. We offer our customers a broad spectrum of services in engineering and consulting as well as radiation protection.

Our predecessor company, NUKEM Nuklearchemie und Metallurgie GmbH, was founded back in 1960. Originally, the company's core business was the processing of uranium and the fabrication of fuel elements. The company also gained high international recognition for its intensive research and development efforts. So it was not unexpected when as early as in the 1970s the company developed the new business areas of nuclear engineering and the construction of nuclear facilities. NUKEM Technologies Engineering Services GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NUKEM Technologies GmbH, which has been part of the Rosatom Group since 2009.

Consistent customer focus and quality management are fundamental to our corporate policy.
