On 6 July 2022, NUKEM successfully reached the first project milestone. The timely completion of the milestone was confirmed by the Customer’s (ONDRAF/NIRAS) acceptance of the Basic Design.

Postponed, not cancelled! On 1 April 2020, NUKEM marked its sixtieth anniversary. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we could not celebrate the company’s birthday back in 2020.

NUKEM successfully developed the concept for the logistics of dismantling of the Berlin Experimental Reactor II (BER II) for the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin (HZB).

By Royal Decree of March 29, 2022, our long-time customer Franco-Belge de Fabrication de Combustible International (FBFC International) was removed from the list of the facilities in Belgium classified as Class I under the Atomic Energy Act.
