
NUKEM Technologies Engineering Services GmbH (NUKEM) has been commissioned by the Swiss nuclear power plant Mühleberg to conduct a feasibility study. The study aims to assess the use of the FREMES conveyor belt clearance measurement system for the radiological characterization of crushed concrete generated during the plant’s dismantling process.

Approval has been granted for the commissioning of facilities at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant site, designed and supplied by NUKEM Technologies Engineering Services GmbH (NUKEM) for the retrieval and treatment of solid radioactive waste.
