NUKEM signed a contract in 2013 for supply of a high force compactor (HFC) to the Horia Hulubei National Institute for R&D in Physics and Nuclear Engineering. The contractual partner for the high force compactor was General Concrete Cernavoda SRL.

Specific tasks were as follows: Development of technical design Clarification of interfaces General layout Installation of filters between the high force compactor and ventilation system Maintenance and process description
Services
NUKEM's scope of supply and services included: Basic engineering for the high force compactor Installation supervision, functional tests, acceptance and commissioning of the high force compactor Supervision of personnel training Contract management in technical and commercial aspects, including reporting, interfaces and documents management.
